Wait, wait don’t step off just as yet, this not a history topic but a far more important one anything else. It’s the constant struggle that other organisms in this world put up to survive along with humans. Humans are comparatively small in number when compared to the other species that exist, but when you consider the destruction they cause it can be more devastating than all the natural disasters put together. We want to conquer and control everything we see but in the process we forget that there are other species that occupy the space as well. We are almost the sole reason for extinction of many species, except the prehistoric things like the dinosaur. Many of them were destroyed for our needs, many others affected by our mindless activities like deforestation, polluting, nuclear testing etc. and a few unfortunate ones were killed to verge of extinction just for fun, for example the hapless dodo. It was thought to be extinct till the 1900’s until someone found it, shot it the next instant and gifted it to a museum with great pride. Today even that is missing. Many of us are inconsiderate, like the ‘money hungry’ industrialists who in the name of mass production destroy almost of all of our fish resources by repetitive fishing. Actually we are quite responsible for these extinctions, averagely 3 to 4 species get extinct everyday by us. I believe it’s fair even to give them a chance to live happily.
